Over the past twelve months, we have conducted research on the views of local people and those interested in the future of Somerset's countryside who live further afield.

We have run two surveys, feeding into National Highways' November 2021 and June 2022 consultations. The aims of this work have been as follows:

1. Raise awareness and make sure everyone has had a chance to have their say

2. Ask the questions which National Highways daren't ask - in addition to giving respondents the opportunity to answer every question raised by National Highways, we've asked a few of our own in addition.

June 2022 survey - summary findings
